Tracking How People with Disabilities Use GAI Over Time

CREATE is tracking how people with disabilities use GAI. Results from this study will be used to develop guidelines for people with disabilities to use GAI safely and effectively, and across a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

The following research questions guide this longitudinal study:

  • What are the top ableism, privacy, and security risks created by GAI use?
  • What challenges do the racial and/or linguistic biases in GAI technologies pose to users with disabilities of diverse cultural and racial backgrounds?
  • Can training materials help to address or reduce risks and barriers to GAI use?
